today i... - had a baby who slept in until 7:30am !

- had a rushed morning

- went to work

- said yes to a new job opportunity (while still maintaining my job at the school...more on that later)

- said yes to a volunteer opportunity

- received 2 new felt flora orders (when it rains, it pours!)

- started planning design ideas for our dining room/kitchen/living room for the upcoming kitchen tour that will be taking place in our house, in november

- took students on field trips to an architectural office and tile showroom

- was disappointed at how many students were missing from these field trips

- went to the grocery store and spent way too much $$...our fridge and pantry were empty and needed replenishing

- bought a cute dress on the 75% off rack at eve's

- was welcomed home to a big smile, a hug and a "HI-YA!"

- made mac&cheese with peas

- baked blueberry muffins

- cooked apple cinnamon walnut raisin oatmeal

- danced and danced and danced with a girl in her tutu

- played on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful weather

- watched from the patio as our neighbors install new grass in their front yard

- thought about tearing up our front yard full of bark and replacing it with lawn...after seeing how nice our neighbor's new grass looks

- took a long evening walk, running over manhole covers in the stroller and loved hearing the bird laugh with delight

- noticed the trees turning yellow

- needed to get work done but sat on the sofa drinking tea and watching tv with my love instead...i'm pooped!
