baked pretzels

i picked up this box of annie's pretzel mix at the market the other day...you know, like the annie's pretzels that always smell and taste so good at the mall?  i've never made pretzels myself and thought it might be a fun little activity for an afternoon.  well, i learned a lot...like the fact that it takes some serious practice to make the pretzels look like the ones you get at the mall.  i made mine too fat and bulky.  but, all in all, they were fun to make and pretty tasty too  (not quite as good as the ones you buy but maybe with practice i will get there).  i had a great little helper and she very much enjoyed munching on the finished product, eventhough they weren't very pretty!
