grateful

i know i have said it before but... i cannot say enough how grateful we are to have the amazing support of my mom in our lives.  she and the bird are the best of friends and have the most wonderful time together.  i love that my mom does things with her and says things to her that i just didn't think of! ​ they play, read, walk around the neighborhood, sing, dance and visit the playground where channing asks nanna to slide "again" and "again" and "again".  i love watching them interact. 

we've been lucky to have my mom here for the past week, to visit and allow us to get a few things done around the house and with our businesses.  this is how i was able to redo my website...otherwise it would have taken me weeks to accomplish.  she was able to go to tumbling and swimming with us and took care of channing while luc and i worked this week.  it also allowed us to have a little break and go out on a date for our anniversary. ​

this year has been challenging.  outside of the fact that we had a baby, (which is life changing enough) we've had plenty of challenges with our jobs, our health ​and various other unexpected things that we have truly struggled to work through.  i do not know how we would have survived without the continued support and presence of my mom.  and it's not only my mom whom i am grateful for but also my dad - who doesn't mind my mom coming over and helping us out for a week at a time. 

so, thank you to the both of you, for your continued love and support.  i appreciate you guys more than i even know how to say and am grateful everyday to have you in our lives. ​
