celebrating autumn with color
i am honored to have been asked to feature our kitchen in an upcoming tour for the junior league of colorado springs. the event is called "kitchens with altitude" and is happening on saturday, november 10th. not only is our kitchen being featured, but i've been asked to decorate our home festively to reflect the season. i've been looking for inspiration and ideas for the past month and have decided on a colorful autumn celebration, since our house has quite a bit of color scattered about. i love the idea of making it feel festive and fall-like but also incorporating fun color punches for a little change from the typical orange and brown color palette. i haven't pinpointed exactly what i plan to do (although i'd better get on it since it's only a month away!) but these are my favorite images for inspiration:
