ducks

i originally considered building a chicken coop, at the side of our house, and raising chickens for eggs.  after much research and talking with a few people who raise ducks...i've decided that i really want to move forward with some little ducklings this spring (if i can get luc talked into it!).  we have a nice neighbor, a few blocks away, who has several ducks and even shared some lovely duck eggs with us to try last week.  he had lots of great things to say and advice for getting started.  i've also been reading this website, which i have found really helpful and insightful.  so...the journey begins.  i will keep you posted.  anyone have or know any who raises ducks for their eggs?  i would love to hear stories, thoughts, advice!
