time to enjoy

after getting home from work a bit early today, i had no plans or work to do....that’s right, nadda, nothing...i got to just sit and play with the bird and not even think about anything related to work.  it got kind of windy and gloomy outside so we spent our time at one of the bird’s favorite places - our sofa.  she often runs over to give it a big hug and says “uh uh” (bird talk for up). she loves to  tumble, roll and play around on it’s big soft cushions.  lots of smiles and giggles.  i am so thankful for times like this to just enjoy.
