quilting - part II

the front of my quilt is complete!  i cut each quilting square in half to create this layout.  pretty easy and quilck although, sewing the velveteen is a little tricky with the nap of the fabric.  i kept it simple though but just creating equal sized rectangles.  the most time consuming part was making sure the edges all lined up.  i am really really loving the colors, patterns and hand to this velveteen fabric grouping. as you can see, it is a very bold and rich collection.  they are from anna maria horner’s loulouli collection.  LOVE! now on to step two...embroidering the back panel....
