kitchen tour
there's been a lot of crafting, cleaning and preparation going on around here for the 2012 junior league "kitchens with altitude". several months back, we were asked to be part of the event and to host a tour in our home of our kitchen. we were thrilled to be apart of it and show off luc's amazing work, since he built our kitchen himself. as part of the tour, we were also asked to "decorate in a holiday manner". i decided to not go full on christmas yet and do an autumn/wintery theme instead. the morning started off cold and drizzly but we ended up with a few breaks in the clouds and overall, a nice day. there was a huge turn out (we are still waiting to hear on the final numbers) and we made some great connections. it was a lot of fun!
