birthday

i enjoyed spending my birthday with my beautiful little bird and wonderful husband.  we took a visit to the zoo and had a great time!  we go to the zoo a lot. in fact, the bird and i have been once a week for the past 4 weeks.  i love our zoo.  not only was it built in a beautiful setting, you get a great work out carrying a 20 pound little one your back!  all of the animals were out and about, which was really fun to see.  i am not a fan of snakes, however, they just finished a renovation of the reptile house and i have to admit that the displays and the reptiles are pretty cool.  as long as they stay behind the glass :).  we took a lovely ride on the merry-go-round and luc even got to give a wallaby a little pat on the back. thanks to everyone for your birthday wishes!
