baby belly henna

it has almost been 1 year since the little bird came into our lives.  in 1 one more week, to be exact.  last year, at this time, i had just enjoyed a beautiful baby shower and had begun to feel “different”. at the time, i didn’t know what that meant, but i could definitely tell that my body was changing. when we were married, in maui, i had wedding henna done on my arms and hands and wanted to continue the tradition with my very pregnant belly.  i still can’t believe i got this big, thinking back.  i couldn’t really find anyone here in town, at the time, to do the henna for us so luc did it instead.  i purchased the henna from vitamin cottage and we sat in the living room enjoying music and working on my big round belly.
