advent: day 10

it took a little warming up to...the bird wasn't quite sure what these crazy boxes hanging on the wall were for but, so far, all of the goodies in our advent calendar have been a hit. every morning, we count our empty boxes and happily reach in to grab out current treat all while saying "one a day".  this comment continues throughout the day, any time she walks past it.  she stops and looks up at all of the pretty little boxes, holds her hand up towards them (like she is telling you to stop) and says "one a day".  

so far, we've opened some of our wooden fruits, rock crayons and vintage mickey mouse figurine.  although i would have to say that the balloons and bubbles are probably her favorite so far!

the bubbles are still a hit...even three days later.  bubbles every morning after breakfast has become the norm.
